C rimes linked to dating apps Tinder and Grindr, including sapo marino, child hook-up grooming and attempted murder, have enlargened seven fold te just two year.
More than 400 offences with a connection to users of the apps were reported to police last year and campaigners warned many more could go unreported.

",I would urge those who use online dating apps to be spil security conscious spil possible and not to share individual gegevens with anyone until they are sure about those they are communicating with.
",Similarly, individuals should zekering all communication with anyone who attempts to pressurise them into something they are not comfy with.",
P olice ter England and Wales received 55 reports of crimes ter 2013 where Grindr or Tinder wasgoed mentioned, according to figures obtained under the Freedom of Information Act.
This enlargened to 204 ter 2014 and 412 ter the year to October , according to the 30 police compels who talent figures.
R eports of violent and sexual crimes were the most common, with 253 allegations of violence against the person and 152 reports of hook-up offences, including grooming, rapes and the sexual exploitation of children.
The figures relate to police reports where the apps are mentioned te the crime report and does not automatically mean the app wasgoed used directly by the criminal.
Last August, Daniel Edwards and his playmate Kristofer Wagner, from Gloucester, were jailed for blackmail after menacing to expose a married man they met on Grindr.
And former teacher Gary Pearce, from Sidcup te Weet, wasgoed jailed for five years last September for grooming a 14-year-old boy he met on Grindr.
Te September 2014 the Garda te Ireland said officers te Dublin had arrested a man on suspicion of raping a woman he met through Tinder.
Ter the same year, Nathanael Foster and Adam Webb, both of Gloucester, were jailed for using Grindr to attempt and ensnare would-be paedophiles and blackmail them.
A ndy Phippen, professor of social responsibility ter IT at Plymouth University, said it wasgoed a ",growing problem, particularly around sextortion-type activities".
He said: ",If wij are going to colchoneta the formation of a relationship on a photo and a few lines of text, how do wij know that person is who they say they are and they have the right intentions?
",It is something wij tell kids about – don’t trust who people say they are online – but the adult population go merrily about their way thinking it is a good way of hooking up.”
Gay and human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell said: ",Closeted gay and andrógino studs who use Grindr may be especially pusilánime to targeting because criminals know they will be less likely to report crimes to the police. I suspect thesis figures are just the peak of the iceberg.",
An NSPCC spokesman said: “Dating apps are, by their very nature, not safe online spaces for children.”
A spokesman for Stonewall said the figures are ",shocking", and Victim Support said people using the apps should tell a friend where they are going before meeting anyone.
The figures come from police reports where Tinder and Grindr has bot used te the description of an allegation. This can refer to cases where they were allegedly used to commit a crime, where the victim and suspect met on the app, or where the app wasgoed mentioned but wasgoed not directly related to the crime – for example when a victim happened to be on Tinder when the crime wasgoed committed.
